For the final project on her university course, my sister made a collection of 6 dresses, we both thought it a good idea to make a small lookbook of the different outfits she had made. This project benefited us both as it gave her some more material to include in her work and it gave me practice in fashion photography, something I had previously never had the chance to do. For this shoot I used a black backdrop coupled with a studio light, I was quite happy with the resulting set of pictures and Im glad I was able to get the camera settings right from the start so I had plenty of time to experiment with different camera angles, lighting positions and poses. My sister used the pictures in full colour because she needed to show the different colours used in her design, I changed them to be black and white because i preferred the look overall, I felt that the dark background worked well with the soft tones of the dresses and the serious expression on her face so I decided to change the look during editing.
